An Amazing primer

January 27th, 2016 by Tina in Makeup & Product Reviews

Are you in search for an affordable primer?  I have tried many primers and some being a bit more pricier than others.  I must say one of my favorite is Smashbox which is about $44.  I had to try Nivea men’s aftershave balm after watching Nikkie Tutorial and a bonus, it is very affordable about $9 and I have been loving it. Some may be bothered at first by the smell which is not too bad but it doesn’t last too long.  The flawless makeup application makes it definitely a great bargain and passes the test for what a primer should do.  I won’t be passing it on to my husband.

Traditional Indian Skin Polisher

February 19th, 2014 by Tina in Makeup & Product Reviews

Traditional skin polisher:
This is used by women all over India.  The turmeric acts as a natural cleanser and disinfectant and will not turn your skin yellow.  The chickpea flour sloughs off dead skin to give unimagined silkiness and the milk will firm up the entire body.  Even though the tiniest of babies are massaged with body polisher, but do be careful if you have a history of allergy to wheat or lentil flour – use rice flour instead.

1 tablespoon chickpea flour
pinch of turmeric
about 2 tsp of milk

Mix all the ingredients together and rub on to wet skin instead of soap.

Testimonial from our Beautiful client Irene

“I had Tina as my makeup artist for my engagement party and I would recommend her to everyone. I am a very simplistic girl and had no idea what I wanted but she made me feel so beautiful. I had many people coming up to me saying I looked so beautiful and complimented my make up. With only 2 weeks before the engagement Tina fit me in her busy schedule and was very accommodating. I was stressed with the snow fall but Tina made time so enjoyable and got me ready on time.

Words can’t even express what a wonderful job you did. I would like to say thank you once again from the bottom of my heart because I felt so beautiful and I didn’t even have to tell you what I wanted. I feel like you already visioned how I would look and you made it come alive.

Can’t wait to see what you will come up for the wedding.”
